Biography
M.Nalaka Anjana Kumara was born on Anuradhapura 18th of July 1967. He is known as a most famous and unique Sri Lankan Music Director, Guitarist, Music Composer as well as a Singer. After finishing his Higher Secondary Education he started his carrier with Stage Dramas. And later he worked as an assistant Music Director with Mestro Gunadasa Kapuge since in his Childhood. He started his occupation at Sri Lanka Rajarata Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) as a Child Artist, Music Director. Later he became the Controller of Music and Music Coordinating Officer. He currently working as the Deputy Director of Music at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Cooperation (SLBC). He was also influenced by Maestro W.D Amaradeva & participated as a Music Director & Guitar Player Classical Musical Concerts worldwide.

- Started working as a Guitar Player at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation , Colombo in 1984.
- Being a Lead , Rhythm & Bass Guitar Player.
- Being a Guitar Player at Stage Drama & Play.
- Music Directing , Music Arranging & Guitar Playing in all "Kampana" Shows of Late Visharad Gunadasa Kapuge.
- Being the Music Director of the Teledrama "Jeewithaya Sunadarai" Telecasted in Rupavahini.
- Being the Assistant Music Director of Films "Bhava Duka - Bhava Karma" which was awarded as the best Films Music Directed by Late Visharad Gunadasa Kapuge.
- Being the Music Director of the Film " Rajjumaala" which was nominated as one of the Best Films in "Sarasawi" Cinema Awards Ceremony.
- Music Directing in various Musical Shows & Concerts both Local & Foreign in countries such as US, Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand & etc.
- Being Qualified in National Music & Dance Exams - Singing & Dancing ( Primary/ Middle /Final Exams).
- Bachelor of Arts In Indian Classical Music- Qualified with a Credit in Bhathkande Visharad Exam of Indian Classical Music in Vocals/ Singing.
- Owning the Musical Concept , Music Director & the Lead Guitar Player of the Musical TV Program " Suramya Raathriya" which was an experimental concept done by playing with 6 Box Guitars with Bass Guitar For the very first time Live on Television Telecasted on Rupavahini Corporation.
- Having the great opportunity to be the Music Arranger, Lead Guitar Player & Singing in Chorus by participating the Sri Lankan Classical Musical Concerts of the Late Maestro W.D Pundit Amaradeva were held in Foreign Countries.
- Awarded as the Best Music Director of Sirasa Music Awards 2005/2006.
- Awarded as the Best Music Director of Raigam Tele Awards 2017 for the Best Teledrama "One Way" Telecasted on ITN.
